gayle roper

Award-winning novelist Gayle Roper has been writing stories for more than thirty-five years. "The nice thing about writing," she says, "is that as long as the mind functions and the hands can still type, you can turn your imagination lose." Besides her many novels, including Amish novels set in Pennsylvania Amish country and her Seaside Mystery series, she has also written non-fiction books. The lovely gardens below are at Gayle's home in southeast Pennsylvania. After losing Chuck, her husband of forty-seven years, Gayle began a blog to offer hope and comfort to others going through the journey of widowhood. Click on the blog logo to visit A Widow's Journey and find info on the new book of the same title. Learn more on Gayle's website at www.gayleroper.com.

Spring is so great for greenery! The rhodo is now wearing brown instead of pink.
