I delight greatly in the LORD; my soul rejoices in my God. . .
For as the soil makes the sprout come up
and a garden causes seeds to grow,
so the Sovereign LORD will make righteousness and praise
spring up before all nations.
~Isaiah 61:10a, 11
Let your bookcases and your shelves be your gardens and your pleasure-grounds.
Pluck the fruit that grows therein, gather the roses, the spices, and the myrrh.
~Judah Ibn Tibbon

Amy, I'm so glad to see you don't have a fabulous manicured garden. At least someone has one I can relate to. LOL I LOVE your three red blossoms. ;)
Hey, Ane!
When I saw all the other amazing gardens fellow authors showcased, I sort of cringed at my trying-to-keep-the-weeds-at-bay offering. ;-) But I'm glad my un-manicured outside garden is balanced by the garden I tend the best~ my three red blossoms.
Thanks for relating and making me smile with your post!
