Mary DeMuth lives with her husband, Patrick, and their three children in Texas, where they returned to from Southern France where they planted a church and tended the first garden shown below. Mary’s novels include Wishing on Dandelions, which was a finalist for the Retailer's Choice Award and the ACFW Carol Award. Mary also writes non-fiction. Says Mary, "I'm a chef wanna-be, a sometimes triathlete (emphasis on sometimes), an on-again-off-again gardener, and a passionate follower of Jesus. Back in the Lonestar–or Bluebonnet State–Mary grows flowers and veggies, including potatoes, tomatoes, purple beans, squash (all kinds), asparagus, beets, and cantaloupe.

This is such a great series -- it provides wonderful insight to authors to get a peek into their backyards. I love the rock path to the gazebo and the privacy this yard provides -- I imagine Mary can spend hours creating in her yard.
